April 5, 2009	File Manager Upgraded The addition of a HTML WYSIWYG editor has been added to the File Manager.  Next to any valid .htm or .html file a new icon will appear (a yellow world) that will activate this editor.  Its available for all major web browsers.
Mar 15, 2009	Number of MYSQL Databases increased! By popular demand, the number of available MYSQL Databases has been increased from 3 to 15.  You can immediately start adding additional databases via the MySQL Database icon in your WEBePanel.
Oct 11, 2008	File Manager Upgraded The ability to uncompress .zip and .tar.gz files has been added to the file manager.  You can upload your compressed file via File Manager or FTP, then uncompress it by clicking on the Uncompress icon next to the compressed file.
Sept 3, 2008	PHP5 upgrade We upgraded all servers from PHP4 to PHP5.  This upgrade was a security update.  Hackers used insecurities of PHP4 to gain access via insecure PHP scripts.  PHP5 resolved many of these security issues.  One of the biggest security issues resolved was remote includes were disabled, which may affect older style scripts.
Late 2007 - 2008	CentOS4 Operating system All servers were upgraded from RHL or Fedora to CentOS4, a linux based operating system.  CentOS4 is more secure and stable.
Nov 2, 2007	Basic SMTP filtering added Added some basic logic to help reduce number of random spams received.  Additional logic may be added in the future for additional filtering.

Oct 20, 2005	Hurricane Wilma outage update During the period of time when hurricane Wilma struck southern Florida, our data center experienced an extended outage.  We have worked with the data center to put measures into place to prevent the issue that occurred that day.  In all hopes, Florida will not see another hurricane of this nature, but hopefully we are all better prepared.
Sept 15, 2005	Apache and PHP upgraded Most servers have been upgraded to Apache 1.3.31 and PHP 4.3.10 due to security issues.  There should be no side effects to this upgrade.
Sept 10, 2005	Operating System upgrade Over the next several months, servers will be upgraded to CentOS operating system.  CentOS as proven to be more stable and secure than Red Hat Linux.  CentOS is a flavor of Unix.
Aug 31, 2005	Standard Sub-domains Redirected On setup of each account, standard sub-domains (mail. ftp. www.) are setup.  Now, mail.domain.com and ftp.domain.com will pull up the main website instead of an undesired website.
June 15, 2004	Security Updates New security measures have been implemented.  If you had telnet/ssh access available, you will need to request that it be re-enabled.  We will not keep ssh access open for more than 72 hours for security reasons.
Feb 20, 2004	Backup Server Online We have added a backup server to our feature list.  Backups are completed each morning between 3:00 AM EST and 5:00 AM EST.  NOTE:  The website stats directory and emails are NOT backed up due to the size of these two items.  We always recommend storing emails on your local computer.
Dec 23, 2003	New Security Measures put into place We have implemented a number of new security measures to combat against hackers.  Some of these measures are very aggressive, but we felt the need to implement them immediately for security reasons (some of them already preventing possible compromised servers!).  If you see odd errors on your site (like 406 errors), please contact support@host4profit.net, sending the URL and how to recreate the error.
Oct 22, 2003	Resource Meter Upgraded The resource meter on the front page of WEBePanel is now displaying the account disk usage and website traffic.
Oct 13 - 19, 2003	Data Center Move Completed Over the week of October 13, 2003, we completed a data center move.  With this move, all servers were upgraded.  The network has been much more stable than the previous data center.  The only servers not affected by this move were any servers above secure43 as those were already setup in the new data center during the trial period.

Feb 06, 2003	Sub-Domain Manager limited release! We have launched the Sub-Domain Manager on a limited number of servers for a testbed.  Clients on secure2, secure20, secure22, secure23, secure27 will see a Sub-Domain Manager icon.  Please use this feature and report any issues to support.
Feb 05, 2003	Crontab Manager upgraded! Improved the error checking routines in the Crontab Manager that caused some issues when attempting to add invalid cron event lines.
Feb 04, 2003	Counter Manager upgraded. The Counter Manager was updated to be more user friendly.  Greatly improved the documentation by adding a view html code link next to each counter, displaying the exact counter html code.

Sept 15, 2002	Redirect Manager Added! The Redirect Manager allows you to redirect a page on your site to a different Internet location. When a visitor views the page, their browser will automatically open the specified location instead. This function is useful for tasks such as promoting a reseller program with a page on your own site by redirecting the visitor to the reseller's page.
Sept 15, 2002	Download Access Log Added The Raw Access Log from the previous week (week starts Sunday morning) can now be downloaded.  This log file can be run through third party programs to get greater detail regarding your visitors.
Sept 15, 2002	View Error Log Added View up to 250 of the most recent errors produced by your website.  This is useful for debugging cgi scripts and finding common webpages that visitors attempt to visit that are invalid.

Feb 07, 2002	Crontab Manager upgraded! Many defects were resolved in this release, mainly the issue of cron events not running (due to not being installed correctly).  NEW FEATURE:  An email address can be defined to have the cron event output/confirmation sent to.
